REL Directed Reading Courses
REL faculty members are also available to lead/supervise directed reading courses (during the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters) with advanced students who are majoring or minoring in the Department (e.g., REL 361, 460, 461); students must take the initiative to approach a professor and propose such a course.
REL Honors Thesis
Each semester REL 400 is also available to students who have spoken with a faculty member who will act as their Honors supervisor.
Registering in Upper-Level REL Courses
Although some upper-level REL courses are limited, in the registration system, to Juniors and Seniors, Freshmen and Sophomores can obtain a permit to enroll by contacting Prof. Richard Newton, the REL Undergraduate Director.
