Presidents Hall framing

Featured Media

Through our blog, videos, and podcast, our faculty, students, and alumni explore ideas and share the work that’s happening in our classes.

REL BLOGS

Our blog — maintained by the faculty but also involving our students, our alumni, and the graduate teaching assistants who help us in our classes — discusses the relevance of the study of religion, in particular, and the liberal arts, in general, for understanding both the past and present, by seeing religion as but one element of wider cultural practices.

Video Library

Since 2012, our Silverstein Fellows have filmed and edited videos that highlight the faculty, students, guests, as well as the ins and outs of life around Presidents Hall.

Predating our graduate program’s focus on the digital humanities, our video initiative is part of our larger social media presence — where people may come across the department and learn about the academic study of religion.

Study Religion Podcast

In the spring of 2017, our department launched the Study Religion podcast. Like our blog, the podcast was a chance to take the research and teaching of the department to a public audience.
