Independent Study

TBA

Directed reading/independent study courses meet at times agreed upon by the instructor and student(s); speak with a professor with whom you hope to do such a course before obtaining permission to enroll.

Students enrolled in REL’s M.A. degree have a variety of local opportunities to gain applied, practical experience — where the skills acquired in the classroom are not only of direct benefit but where they are also enhanced.

The Graduate Director acts as the instructor of record for section 001 (and REL’s liaison to off-site supervisors), in which all students enroll when working in an internship outside the Department.

Learn more about possible internships and speak with the Graduate Director well in advance of the semester in which you hope to enroll in this internship course.
