The list of courses related to Asian Studies offered in Spring 2022 is now available. Many courses count towards specific General Education requirements. For Humanities/Fine Arts, you can take The Violent and the Sacred (REL 101), which will highlight Asia, or for the History sequence, you can take Modern Asia Since 1400 (HY 114). Two Asia related courses also satisfy the Writing requirement, Art of Imperial China (ARH 355) and Adv Studies in Comparative Multi-Cultural Lit: Literature of South Asia (EN 411.002). Language courses range from Chinese, Japanese, and Korean to Arabic, Farsi, Hindi, Thai, and more.
