The Department of Religious Studies offers the following programs for undergraduate students:

• Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Religious Studies
• Minor in Religious Studies
• Minor in Judaic Studies
• Minor in Asian Studies

These programs complement each other as well as the offerings programs at UA. Hence our students often find their REL courses enriching their work in other programs in the university. Majoring and minoring in our programs equips students for a variety of professional futures.

Honors

We also offer a departmental honors program for Religious Studies majors. Students develop an undergraduate research project under faculty advisement. Their advanced coursework and independent scholarship culminates in the writing of an honors thesis.
