Campus Visit

Each spring semester, after initial acceptances have been extended to incoming MA students (but prior to final funding decisions), the department hosts a day when those who have been admitted are invited to campus, to learn more about the department as well as the wider campus and the city.

These visits, which are partially subsidized by the department and organized by the graduate director, are intended to help incoming students not just to become more familiar with the program but also to better understand the advantages of pursuing a graduate degree in REL at The University of Alabama.

The visit, which includes an orientation to the program and department, tours students around campus and the city, introducing them to current grad students and to their prospective supervisors.
