Prof. Tim Jensen, of the University of Southern Denmark, is the Department's 2018-19 Aronov Lecturer -- the 17th in this annual series. He is also the President of the International Association for the History of Religions, so brings a wealth of international experience to our Department. While at UA he will offer a public lecture but will also participate in a faculty seminar and meet with our B.A. and M.A. students as well.

Dr. Annette Yoshikio Reed is Associate Professor in the College of Arts and Sciences at New York University. Her research interests include Second Temple Judaism, early Christianity, and Christian/Jewish relations in the ancient world.  She will be delivering a public lecture titled, "Origins and Other Modes of Forgetting: Rethinking Jewish and Christian Identities." THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED AND WILL BE RESCHEDULED IN THE FALL

Her research interests include Second Temple Judaism, early Christianity, and Christian/Jewish relations in the ancient world.  She will be delivering a public lecture titled, "Origins and Other Modes of Forgetting: Rethinking Jewish and Christian Identities."
