Directed reading/independent study courses meet at times agreed upon by the instructor and student(s); speak with a professor with whom you hope to do such a course before obtaining permission to enroll.
Each Spring this course is offered for MA students in their final semester and who are working on their thesis. Students enroll in their supervisor’s section(s) of the course, usually for 6 credit hours. To enroll you must obtain a permit from the main office.
