Directed reading/independent study courses meet at times agreed upon by the instructor and student(s); speak with a professor with whom you hope to do such a course before obtaining permission to enroll.
All MA students writing a thesis (as opposed to a final project) will register in 6 hours of REL 599 (in their supervisor’s section). To enroll you must obtain a permit from the main office.
