By the end of the first month of each student’s initial semester in the program (i.e., either August or January), all students must complete a plan of study, doing so in conversation with their supervisor. The completed form, in hard copy, is to be submitted to the Graduate Director.
Although it can be revised (and re-submitted) at any point, it ensures that students and supervisors are (i) aware of all requirements and (ii) have a plan for timely degree completion. It also ensures that the Graduate Director is aware of each student’s plans and progress.
