This one credit hour course, offered each semester, involves monthly films and discussions based on a theme. Students will write one brief (~250 word) commentary for each film. Different films are used each semester and the course is repeatable for up to 3 credit hours. Open to all students.
This semester’s theme is “The End of the World (As We Know It).” We will watch Dr. Strangelove, Children of Men, Beasts of the Southern Wild, and Wall-E. Films will be shown on the following Tuesdays from 6:00 to 9:00 pm: Sept. 3, Sept. 24, Oct. 22, and Nov. 19.
