Description

This course focuses upon the oldest of the gospels in the Christian canon, the Gospel According to Mark. After a preliminary investigation of the text in the New Revised Standard Version translation, we will explore Mark's many nuances under the guidance of contemporary Biblical scholars, literary critics, and cultural theorists. As this course is a Core-designated "W" course, writing proficiency is required for a passing grade. W
